Award Winning Screenwriter
Reuben joined the writing team of the feature film "The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland" at a critical junction. Two incomplete scripts needed to be merged into one. But the team employed a novel approach pulling insights from a team of 13 writers that Reuben led.
Once this script had been refined, other writers took over and added humor (James M. De Vince) new plot points (Bob Saenz) and helped to make the story into the winner of the 2020 International Christian Film Festival "Best Screenplay" for a feature film.
Beyond screenplays, Reuben writes ad copy and long form journalism in the video and film space. You can find his articles in CineD.com, Adobe's Frame.io Insider Blog, and OWC's Rocket Yard Blog. His collaboration as a lead content strategist with Blade Ronner Media allowed him to write for sites such as the Musicbed and the EditShare blog.
Writing takes many forms, here are some
projects Reuben has worked on.
