Directed by Clarito Zapanta, "A Light in the Ether" takes place in the "Egress" universe. The 25 minute short film is starting to make the rounds of the film festival circuit. It demonstrated the team's technical ability by shooting on an LED volume. Shooting on this kind of stage is known as "virtual production" because the LED screen shows the background. It was popularized by the Disney + show, "The Mandalorian."
